This remarkable achievement comes with an astonishing lap time of 6 minutes and 40.835 seconds, decisively surpassing the Corvette ZR1X's previous best by over eight seconds. This new record firmly re-establishes Ford's dominance in high-performance automotive engineering.

This latest iteration, known as the Mustang GTD Competition, is a testament to meticulous enhancements in power and weight reduction.
