A critically acclaimed and unconventional theatrical experience, 'White Rabbit Red Rabbit,' is set to captivate audiences once again in London's illustrious West End. This unique production will feature a rotating ensemble of prominent actors, including David Tennant, Riz Ahmed, Luke Thompson, and Jodie Whittaker, each bringing a fresh perspective to the stage. The play's distinctive format—where performers encounter the script for the first time live, without any prior rehearsals or directorial guidance—ensures that every single show is an exclusive, unrepeatable event.

Celebrated Actors Lead Return of Acclaimed Play to Duchess Theatre

The innovative play, 'White Rabbit Red Rabbit,' is making its anticipated return to the West End at the Duchess Theatre, with performances scheduled every Monday evening from June through November. Spearheaded by the newly formed independent production company, There & Then, founded by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour and director Omar Elerian, this revival promises to be a highlight of the London theater season. The star-studded lineup of guest performers includes David Harewood kicking off the series on June 8, followed by 'Doctor Who' icon David Tennant in the subsequent week. July will see 'Bridgerton' star Luke Thompson on the 6th, and Jodie Whittaker on the 13th. Later in the season, on September 28, acclaimed actor Riz Ahmed, currently featuring in Prime Video's 'Bait,' will take the stage. Additional confirmed performers include Jo Joyner, Asim Chaudhry, and Archie Madekwe from 'Saltburn,' ensuring a dynamic and diverse array of talent. The play's structure is deliberately experimental: each actor encounters the script for the very first time as they perform, with no prior rehearsals or directorial input, making every night a truly spontaneous and singular theatrical happening.

This theatrical experiment, devoid of rehearsals and traditional direction, challenges both performers and audiences to embrace the unknown, fostering a raw and immediate connection to the storytelling. The creators hope to inject a fresh, unconventional energy into the West End, reminding us of the profound power of risk, imagination, and the enduring art of narrative in navigating our complex world.
