Jamie Dornan, the acclaimed actor recently cast in the upcoming 'Lord of the Rings' installment, is now the face of Moncler's vibrant new summer collection. This campaign ingeniously reinterprets Moncler's iconic 'puffy' aesthetic for the warmer months, blending luxury with a lighthearted spirit. The collection features an array of colorful apparel for both men and women, focusing on breathable fabrics and relaxed silhouettes. Complementing the fashion, the campaign incorporates whimsical inflatable animal sculptures, creating a playful and memorable visual narrative that captures the essence of a joyful summer.

The campaign, launched on April 16, 2026, emphasizes a fresh and spirited approach to summer fashion. Dornan himself highlights the intriguing concept of adapting Moncler's characteristic warmth and volume to a lighter, more relaxed summer context. His involvement adds a touch of celebrity appeal to the brand's innovative vision. The visuals include Dornan enjoying a popsicle and blowing a bubblegum bubble, embodying the campaign's cheerful and carefree mood. These human elements are juxtaposed with fantastical animal sculptures, such as an octopus, whale, lobster, seahorse, crab, and flamingo, designed by set decorator Andy Hillman. These 'beautifully puffy' creatures symbolize the collection's buoyant and bold spirit.

For women, the summer line introduces a palette of soft pastels, including pink, orange, and forest green, grounded by crisp neutrals. Classic summer patterns like stripes, gingham checks, and tropical florals adorn button-down polo shirts, pussy-bow playsuits, breezy dresses, and printed shorts, offering a feminine and refreshing look. The men's collection, in contrast, focuses on a 'casual yet refined' aesthetic, with layered outfits in shades of scarlet red, sunny yellow, sky blue, rich burgundy, and clean neutrals. Lightweight materials such as whisper-weight nylon, relaxed denim, nylon-blend chambray, and crisp cotton poplin define the range, which includes windbreakers, field jackets, hooded shirt jackets, shorts, relaxed pants, retro bowling shirts, striped polos, graphic tees, and an assortment of bucket hats and beanies, perfect for stylish summer layering.

Beyond the digital campaign, Moncler is bringing its 'puffy summer' concept to life through a series of global pop-up activations. Kicking off with Milan Design Week from April 16-28, a giant inflatable octopus will animate the iconic 10 Corso Como. Following this, Seoul's Seongsu district will host another activation from May 1-3, featuring the colossal octopus taking over a dedicated space's facade. Future stops are planned for Hong Kong SAR, where a four-story flamingo will captivate visitors at Harbour City Mall; Ginza, Japan, with a massive crab at the entrance of Dover Street Market; Paris, where a flamingo will grace the balcony of the Champs-Élysées store; and Miami's Design District, which will showcase a crab mural and sculptural flamingo. These immersive experiences aim to engage audiences and highlight the playful artistry behind Moncler's latest collection.

This innovative campaign skillfully merges high fashion with a whimsical spirit, perfectly capturing the essence of summer. The thoughtful design, playful imagery, and global activations collectively convey a message of joy and relaxation. Moncler's summer collection, fronted by Jamie Dornan, celebrates individuality and offers a fresh perspective on seasonal attire, inviting consumers to embrace a 'puffy summer' with style and exuberance.
