This year's Gold Gala, scheduled for May 9th at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles, marks a significant evolution, expanding into a global platform for celebrating Asian Pacific cultural power. The event's theme, "A New Gold World," is a direct call to action, urging attendees and the broader community to foster shared abundance and unity in a world often characterized by division. The meticulous selection of honorees for the Gold100 List reflects their profound impact and dedication to their respective fields.

A highlight of the gala will be the presentation of special honors to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to culture. Priyanka Chopra Jonas will receive the Global Vanguard Honor for her 25-year career bridging Asian Pacific and Western cultures and her efforts to amplify underrepresented voices through Purple Pebble Pictures. Martial arts legend Jet Li will be awarded the Gold Legend Honor for popularizing wushu globally and his philanthropic work with the One Foundation. Charles Melton will be recognized with the Gold Artistic Achievement Honor for his compelling performances in "May December" and "Beef," establishing him as a significant voice for Asian Pacific talent in Hollywood.

Other notable honorees include Simu Liu, who will receive the Gold Mogul Honor for his versatile success as an actor, author, producer, and advocate for representation. Eileen Gu will be presented with the Gold Impact Honor for her fearless ambition, cultural bridging, and advocacy for women in sports. Additionally, Revathi Advaithi, CEO of Flex, will be honored with the inaugural Forbes Gold Honor, celebrating her journey from shop floor supervisor to leading a $26 billion global manufacturing company while championing diversity and sustainable innovation.

The evening's program will feature an opening by Bowen Yang, with "Deli Boys" cast members Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and Poorna Jagannathan commencing the second half of the show. A prestigious lineup of presenters, including Candace Parker, Chrissy Teigen, and H.E.R., will grace the stage. The culinary experience, curated by James Beard Award-winning executive chef Justin Pichetrungsi of Anajak Thai, will be a gastronomic delight. Following the main event, the Billboard x Gold House Founders Party will continue the festivities, featuring performances by "RuPaul's Drag Race" stars Nymphia Wind and Plastique Tiara, a DJ set by Joe Taslim, and the return of the Celebrity Karaoke Room presented by Maybelline New York.

Before the gala, the Gold Women Breakfast, co-presented by Marriott Bonvoy, will convene influential Asian Pacific women at The West Hollywood Edition. This gathering underscores the event's commitment to empowering and recognizing women leaders. The Gold Gala itself, produced by Sequoia Productions for the fourth consecutive year, will boast stunning stage visuals designed by Aura Productions, ensuring a memorable and visually spectacular experience for all attendees.
